Terms of service

By using MessageFold, you agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your location and authorized to use any information you submit.

Your content

You keep ownership of messages and media you submit. You grant MessageFold a limited license to store, process, display, and deliver that content solely to operate and improve the service. Do not submit confidential, infringing, harassing, unlawful, or malicious content.

Organizer responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for choosing an appropriate recipient, protecting access to their organizer email account and private signing and finished card links, and moderating the card. Anyone with a private signing or finished card link may be able to open or forward it. Keep surprise-card links out of channels the recipient can see. Only send sign requests to people you reasonably expect to participate; MessageFold may send them daily reminders during the final seven days, and either person can stop those reminders.

Payments

Creating a card and collecting unlimited messages and media is free. A one-time $4.99 organizer payment unlocks email delivery, a shareable finished card link, and MessageFold’s Print / Save PDF feature for one card. Contributors do not pay, there is no subscription, and the displayed price remains fixed for that card. Refunds are handled manually during v1.

Availability and delivery

We work to deliver unlocked cards on schedule, but internet and email systems can fail or filter messages. An organizer may instead share the finished card link directly. An unpaid card is not finalized for recipient delivery. We will not intentionally deliver an empty card; the organizer is notified instead. The service is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law.

Enforcement

We may remove content or suspend access to protect people, the product, or the law. Report concerns from the card page or through the contact form.
