Can I create a card for free?

Yes. Create and share the card, collect every message and photo, and preview it for free.

Is there a message limit?

No. Collect as many messages and photos as you need for free. Pay $4.99 only when you are ready to finish the card.

What does the $4.99 payment unlock?

It unlocks email delivery, a shareable finished card link, and MessageFold’s Print / Save PDF feature for one card.

Can I change how the card looks?

Yes. Choose from hundreds of designer covers and five themes, or upload your own cover photo, at no extra cost. Contributors see the design while they sign.

Why do I choose a date before paying?

With a recipient email, it is the scheduled send time. Without one, it is your target finish time; finish the card and share its card link when you are ready.

Is there a subscription or recurring fee?

No. The organizer pays once per finished card. There is no monthly or annual plan.

Do contributors have to pay or create accounts?

No. Contributors open the private signing link and add a message or photo without paying or creating a MessageFold account.

How do I collect messages?

Share one private signing link wherever the group already talks. You can also ask one person directly by email; the request and its final-seven-day reminders are free. The $4.99 payment is only for finishing and sharing the completed card.
